The idea for this painting started last fall when the colours were bright. I was doing a lot of dyeing with oak leaves. I walked around my property and started snapping photos. This was a combination of about 5 photos
that I used for reference. Once I started to paint it morphed into an experiment with negative shapes. It was very enjoable to paint.
